Workshop
Venue: Henry-Ford-Bau, Akademischer Senatssaal, Garystraße 35, 14195 Berlin-Dahlem
A year after the opening of documenta 14 in Athens, this workshop initiates a first explorative discussion on the local legacies of the exhibition, both in terms of infrastructures and in terms of symbolic capital and connectivity within the art world. Artists, curators and academics analyze the various implications and effects of hosting documenta 14 for the Greek artistic scene and use the Athenian example in order to reflect on the tensions between global and local realities, power asymmetries and questions of sustainability.
